Foreign State of Existence
Living in Italy for a month allowed me to live on the edge of tourist and an incompetent outsider. Not quite distinctly fitting in either category. As I straddled this line, I observed those in my surroundings. I captured moments that were thought to be private and those of uneasy awareness of my imprudence. By observing those in my surroundings, I have created scenes that they were unaware existed. These moments conjure up the awkward placement of myself in this foreign state of existence.
